Located in the northwest region of the state of Minas Gerais, Cerrado's altitude varies from 900 to 1250 meters above sea level (MASL). With large amounts of sunlight and defined seasonality, the region lends itself to being called one of the most biodiverse and complex region on earth and home to roughly 5% of all species on earth. We are excited to offer coffee from one of the world's leading largest coffee producers and to highlight some of the region's characteristics.
As amazing as this coffee is, we are most excited to announce our partnership with Grounds For Health!! Grounds for Health partners with regional healthcare providers to train, organize, and equip them to provide women with access to high quality preventive and secondary services for HPV and Cervical Cancer. As a partner, Vital Coffee Roasters is donating 50% of all profits earned from Cerrado sales to help Grounds for Health in their mission, to “prevent cervical cancer in coffee communities.”
